Kunnamkulam: Argument Over Scooter Seat Ends In Brutal Attack! Read Details

Two men in Kunnamkulam got into a fight with two youths, Nissam and Ali, just because they were sitting on a bike and talking on the phone. The accused told them to move, and things quickly got heated.

Thrissur: Police in Kunnamkulam have arrested two men for attacking a couple of youths with an iron rod. The accused, Sreejith and Midhun Krishna, are both from Perumthuruthy. They allegedly attacked Nissam and his friend Ali, who are also from the same area.

The whole thing happened around 11 PM on the 19th of this month. Nissam and Ali were at the Perumthuruthy Centre, sitting on a bike and talking on the phone. That's when the accused approached them and told them to move away from the scooter, which led to a heated argument.

Police say the attack was because of a previous rivalry. The argument quickly turned violent, and the accused started beating up Nissam and Ali. During the fight, the first accused, Sreejith, grabbed an iron rod from his scooter and aimed for Nissam's head.

Luckily, Nissam managed to duck in time, but the rod still struck him on the left side of his forehead, causing a serious injury. In their statement, the victims claimed that the attackers seemed to be under the influence of intoxicants.

A police team led by Kunnamkulam Sub Inspector A.V. Santhosh arrested the two men. They have been booked under several charges, including attempt to murder.
