Muvattupuzha: A 19-year-old boy met with a tragic end after a lift crashed down at Vellorkunnam in Muvattupuzha. The deceased is Akshay Krishnan, a resident of Peringazha. The shocking accident took place inside the godown of a local stationery shop.

The shop owner and other staff members reached the spot much later. They found Akshay lying there with severe injuries. People immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors could not save his life.
