At first, only a few fish came up, but soon after, every single wave started bringing in kilos of sardines. This crazy rush went on for about half an hour.

The fish were actually trying to escape the fishing nets in the deep sea. While doing so, they got caught in the strong waves and washed straight onto the beach. As the news spread, locals and tourists visiting the beach managed to grab more than enough fish. Local residents mentioned that this kind of thing happens occasionally when multiple boats go fishing together in the same area.

This is a natural phenomenon where fish swim together in a panic to escape the nets, only to get trapped in the strong undercurrents and waves that push them to the shore. It was quite a sight to watch the sardines jumping around, looking like silver scattered all over the sand. A large number of people, including women and kids, rushed to the beach with vessels and sacks to collect the washed-up fish. Many people got enough fish for their daily home use, and some even managed to sell the extra catch.
