Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has resigned as the Karnataka Chief Minister. Currently, he is on his way to meet the Governor and submit his resignation letter. Yeddyurappa decided to announce his resignation before the floor test was conducted.

Here are the 10 points BS Yeddyurappa said addressing the House, before announcing his resignation and the floor test.

 

1) I want to heartily thank the people of Karnataka who had elected BJP and rejected Congress and JD(S).

2) If BJP had got 113 seats, the picture of Karnataka would have been entirely different

3) I had expected that there would be Modi government in the Centre and Yeddyurappa's government in Karnataka

4) I will campaign in the length and breadth of Karnataka and make BJP win all 28 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

5) I had expected that MLAs from the other party would understand what PM Narendra Modi wants to do for the state and will support us as promised.

6) My fight for farmers, needy will continue Mr Kumaraswamy, I will not give my life for power but people

7) I can never forget the love people have shown towards me

8) But because of crooked ways of Congress, there has been the murder of democracy

9) I will continue to serve the people of Karnataka even if I have to sit in the Opposition

10) I resign from my post as CM of Karnataka and will tender the letter to the Governor
