Veteran south Indian actor RN Sudarshan dies in Bengaluru

South Indian veteran actor RN Sudarshan breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru He is a well known face in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies too. South Indian veteran actor RN Sudarshan breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru on September 8 after a brief illness. He was admitted to Sagar Apollo Hospital at Tilak Nagar in Bengaluru, where he breathed his last. 

Rattihalli Nagendra Sudarshan, 78, popularly known as RN Sudarshan, a film actor was currently acting in the Kannada serial Agnisakshi. Including he song Apara Keerthi Galisis Mereda Bhavya Nadidu.... of Vijayanagarada Veeraputra movie, RN Sudarshan has acted in over 250 films. He is a well-known face in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies too.  Along with milestone movies like Nagarahavu, recently he had acted in movies like Matha and Super. 

Sudarshan was launched as a lead actor in the Kannada film with Vijayanagarada Veeraputra movie in 1961. He has acted in the lead role for over 60 films before appearing in the role of antagonist. He also appeared in TV soaps.

Rn Sudarshan is the brother of R N JayaGopal, a writer and actor; RN Krishnaprasad, who is a cinematographer. He married Shylashree who also has acted in Tamil movies. He is the son of popular actor RN Nagendra.

Funeral to be conducted in Harischandra Ghat and the final public viewing of the body has been arranged at Ravindra Kalakhestra in Town Hall.
