Synopsis

Gadag is receiving heavy rains in the past seven days. Two dead bodies were seen floating on water in the Lake at Yavagal in Rona Taluk The bodies have not been identified  yet; police are waiting for the bodies to be washed to the coast It is not known if the bodies are washed away in the rainwater or have committed suicide or were murdered.

Gadag is receiving heavy rains in the past seven days. Water bodies are overflowing, and the people of Rona taluk were shocked to see two dead bodies floating in the Bennehalla Lake in Gadag.

Dead bodies were seen floating on water in the Lake at Yavagal in Rona Taluk. At least two bodies of young men were spotted on the Lake, and the police were waiting for the bodies to arrive at the coast to get the bodies out of the water.

The bodies have not been identified, nor there is any information on from where the bodies have come. The Bennehalla Lake flows from Haveri to Dharwad and then comes to Gadag and continues to Bagalkot.

It is not even known if the bodies are washed away in the rainwater or have committed suicide or were murdered. The people have expressed surprise over the incident and gathered in a large number to see if they can identify the bodies.
