Special counters at Palace grounds for filing IT returns

Synopsis

Special counters set up to facilitate to file IT returns for three days starting July 29 At Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds, 54 special counters will be operating  The counters will work from morning 10 am to 6 pm Those with over Rs 5 lakh income can file returns online  

With July 31 being the last date to file Income tax returns, the Income Tax Department has set up special counters to facilitate salaried and pensioners to file IT returns, reports Kannada Prabha. From July 29 to 31 , 54 special counters will operate at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Grounds from 10 am to 6 pm.  

Those with over Rs 5 lakh income can file returns online, said Income Tax Department. Arrangements have also been made to attend to any queries with regard to IT.  The Income Tax Department has requested public to make use of the facility.
