The CM Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government fired a legal notice on Monday for criminal and civil defamation at the PM for calling it the "10% commission government".
The notice states that the advertisements (print and electronic) published or broadcasted by the BJP accusing the Karnataka government of corruption are patently false. The notice also mentions phrases used by Modi that seem to have seriously upset the CM: "Ease of doing business replaced by ease of doing murders" and "Siddarupaiyya sarkar", for instance.
Reacting to the same, MP Subramanian Swamy said that Congress should confront the BJP in debates. "The defamation notice will be thrown out in one hearing," he said.
