After Vijayapura police, now Kodagu postal staff have liquor party at office

After Vijayapura police found drinking alcohol in the station premises while on duty, now it is the turn of post office employees in Shanivara Santhe in Kodagu district.

The postal staff apparently hosted a farewell party to one of their staff who was transferred on May 31. They were found having liquor at their counters. They were joined by their colleagues from various post offices in the district. A video of this has gone viral since reports Kannada Prabha.

Now, it has been brought to the notice of Superintendent Radhakrishna who has promised stringent action against the officials for impairing the sanctity of the workplace.

It may be recalled here that Vijayapura police earned infamy after a video of them having liquor at the station premises itself, on a broad daylight went viral. Worst, the women constables were found serving liquor to them in the video.
