The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has unleashed another round of angry outbursts at BJP regarding the Bantwal riot. Reacting to NJP State President B S Yeddyurappa’s statement that if RSS leader Prabhakar Bhat is arrested the State will be on fire, Siddaramaiah said setting fire is BJP’s job, our job is to douse the fire set by them. He, however, remarked that it is impossible for BJP to set fire in Karnataka and even in case they do, we will not let it burn, he cautioned, reported Kannada Prabha.
Talking to newspersons at Mysuru on Friday regarding the unrest in Bantwal Siddaramaiah said MP Nalin Kumar says the Dakshina Kannada district will be on fire, former CM B S Yeddyurappa says the entire State will be set fire, MP Shobha Karandlaje says she will hit the nail on Congress’ coffin. This shows their culture, he critiqued.
BJP is expert at setting fire. IT is their political agenda also. But however much they may try they cannot set Karnataka on fire. Even if they do, we will not let that happen. I have not said anywhere that Prabhakar Bhat to be arrested. Why are they repeatedly saying it? It shows their guilt conscience. District in charge Minister Ramanatha Rai has instructed the police to take action, whether Prabhakar Bhat or anyone else for that matter, take law into their hands. What is wrong in it, he questioned.
Siddaramaiah was also furious that BJP boycotted the Peace Meet held under the leadership of Ramanatha Rai at Mangaluru regarding the Bantwal unrest. “Why did they not go to the Peace Meet? Because they do not want any problem to be solved. They can take advantage of situation only during unrest. They will instigate emotional, religious issues, set fire and sit and watch. They said they would build Rama Mandir. Why have they not built it in all these years? Building a Mandir is not their intention. BJP will always keep scissors in its pocket. But we know how to stitch what they cut. We keep needle and stitching is our job, he said sarcastically.
Law and order system in the State is not ruined as alleged by Union Minister Nirmala Seetharaman. It was BJP that set fire in Mangaluru. Let Nirmala Sitharaman talk about Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, he said. B S Yeddyurappa is 75 and the elections are approaching. Hence he is making his last attempt to come to power by hook or crook. But BJP will never come to power. Mission 150 is making him depressed. BJP will not come to power come what may. People have not forgotten that he had gone to jail. He also said that he has instructed the police to keep an eye on all organisations like PFI,SDPI, RSS, Bajarang Dal, Sri Rama Sene or anybody for that matter who instigate violence he said.
