A student attempting to take selfie from atop a 60-feet hill fell down, hit a boulder and died on the spot at Chennagiri Hill waterfalls, Chikkarayappana Halli, Doddaballapura, reports Kannada Prabha.

Even as the incident of a student drowning while his friends were busy taking selife is still fresh in the minds of people, yet another student from Government College Doddaballapura lost his life to selfie craze. A group of B Com students from Government First Grade College had gone to Channarayaswamy Hills Chennagiri falls. After frolicking in the water, HS Naveen Kumar (19), a final year student went up the high boulder to take a selfie with water in the background. As there was moss on the boulder, he slipped and fell off the 60 ft boulder and hit his head on another boulder and died immediately. His friends called for an ambulance but he died before it arrived.
