Not scared of thousand BSYs: CM Siddaramaiah

Synopsis

CM calls BJP leaders cowards who cannot not face Prime Minister Modi. Says he is not scared of thousand B S Yeddyurappas. Hopeful of Congress winning and Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister. Claimed that his government has performed well and people are happy.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who vented out his displeasure at BJP during the program at Kudalasangama in which S R Patil took charge as the KPCC executive president, continued the tirade at Belagavi.  He claimed that his government had fulfilled promises made and said he is not scared of thousand B S Yeddyurappas. Describing Yeddyurappa as a coward for not speaking up in the presence of Prime Minister with regard to loan waiver, CM made no attempt to hide his discontentment.

Speaking at the party workers’ meet at Athani on Friday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said the farm loan waiver was done by the State Government, not for the fear of BJP.  He challenged the BJP leaders to bring pressure on the Central Government to waive farm loans taken by the farmers from nationalised banks.  The BJP delegation from State that met the Prime Minister did not even utter a word, such cowards they are, he sneered.

The Chief Minister was confident that Congress would come to power at State in the next elections also and that at Centre Rahul Gandhi would become the Prime Minister. He said Congress Government had fulfilled the promises made to people and that the people are satisfied with its administration. If there is a government that delivered as promised it is his government alone, he said, reported Kannada Prabha.

On the occasion Congress in charge for State Venugopal said BJP is resorting to create disturbance in the State by instigating communal disharmony in the name of Rama Mandir. He alleged that BJP had chosen Udupi to once again rake the Rama Mandir issue.  BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj is preparing the ground for it, he alleged.

The Chief Minister was presented with a silver mace on the occasion.
