The petrol bunks in Karnataka will go dry from June 15 midnight. The bandh has been called against the Centre’s decision to revise the rates.
According to the new rules, June 16 onwards, the petrol and diesel price will change every day. But the petrol bunk owners, Karnataka State Federation of Petroleum Dealers Bunk have called for a bandh opposing this new rule of the Centre.
According to sources, more than four thousand petrol bunks will be closed on June 16. The dealers are of the opinion that the government is allowing the fuel companies to take them for granted. The bunks will incur a loss with this, says the Federation.
