Mysuru Dasara: Colourful tableaux for Jamboo Savari

Preparations are full on for the world famous Jambu Savari procession at Mysuru with attractive tableaux. There are about 40 tableaux from different districts representing cultural significance of each one. There are several historical monuments represented like Chaturmukha Basadi, Shravanabelagola, Anegondi Palace etc. 

Preparations are full on for the world famous Jambu Savari procession at Mysuru with attractive tableaux depicting various aspects of the State, reported Kannada Prabha.

There are about 40 tableaux from different districts representing cultural significance of each one. Along with that several tableaux are showcasing various government projects like Indira Canteen, Jeevajala on water conservation, Swachcha Bharath mission success story, water treatment plant etc.  

There are several historical monuments represented like Chaturmukha Basadi, Shravanabelagola, Anegondi Palace, Folk art, Sri Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangapatna, Yadiyuru Siddalingeswara, Deveeramma Hill in Chikkamagaluru, Madakari Nayak fort, Bhuthanatha temple, Madivala Machideva pond, Navarang Darvaz Mudgal fort and others.
