
Hindu Jagaran Vedike leader Jagadish Karanth was arrested by police on his arrival at Kempe Gowda International Airport from Bihar. He was wanted by police for making derogatory remarks against police officer Abdul Khadar at a function held on Sept 15 at Puttoor.
A complaint was registered against Jagadish Karanth by Puttoor police, reported kannada Prabha.
Jagadish Karanth arrived in City by flight after a Baitak meeting in Bihar Jagaran Vedike and the Dakshina Kannada CID police arrested him at the airport. He will be produced before Puttoor judge.
