There was no security threat at Krishna Mutt. We weren't aware that there was life threat to the Prime Minister. We were informed in advance that the Prime Minister will not visit the temple. No need to give a different colour to the entire controversy, said Venkataramanacharya, Manager of Palimar Mutt.

We were well-prepared for PM's visit to the temple. Even the police beefed up its security near the Mutt. We finished all our morning worship and prayers by 10 am. PM wasn't happy visiting the temple when here on a political campaign.

There are no security lapses in the temple. We weren't aware about any life threat to the PM. There is enough security deployment in the temple. We don't want to comment on BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje's statement, he added.
