MLA turns traffic controller to ease traffic jam

Commuters on Sunday at Raghavendra Circle, Ramamurthy Nagar, were surprised to see local MLA Basavaraj Bairathi controlling the traffic to ease the heavy jam. MLA Bairathi Basavaraj was touring his constituency on Sunday and was caught in a traffic jam for hours. Frustrated over this, he got down from his car at Raghavendra Circle and started clearing the traffic much to the happiness of vehicle users. People were surprised but his efforts paid and the traffic bottleneck was soon cleared, reports Kannada Prabha.

Incidentally there was a not a single traffic policeman seen at the spot. The MLA could have called the traffic control room, instead he resorted to action himself.
