Manjunath Choori, a native of Bagalkot had gone missing from Hamburg City in Germany since June 18. There were unconfirmed reports that his shirt, footwear and cycle were found near a river in Hamburg suggesting he could have ended his life. But, so far the Hamburg police have not confirmed it. The MEA officials too have not said anything about it.
A native of Simikeri village in Bagalkot district, Manjunath was pursuing M Sc in Hamburg for the last one-and-a-half-year. He is a brilliant student and he went to Germany on a scholarship.
