Synopsis

Suvarna News exposed a scam in which a lady doctor was involved in the female foeticide in a multispecialty Hospital in Ilakal taluk, Bagalakote district. Dr Aruna Akki of Mahantesha Multispecilaty Hospital in Ilakal is involved in dealing with female foeticide. Suvarna News submitted the video to the DC and lodged a complaint several months ago but action has not been taken in this regard so far. Instead the accused has been provided with the information about the complainant and the DHO is threatening the complainant.

Suvarna News exposed a scam in which a lady doctor was involved in the female foeticide in a multispecialty Hospital in Ilakal taluk, Bagalakote district, reported Suvarna News.

Dr Aruna Akki of Mahantesha Multispecilaty Hospital in Ilakal is involved in dealing with female foeticide. Suvaran News has the video of Dr Aruna Akki negotiating an illegal female foeticide. Suvarna News submitted the video to the DC and lodged a complaint several months ago but action has not been taken in this regard so far. Instead the accused has been provided with the information about the complainant and the DHO is threatening the complainant.

When the Bagalakote officials did not deliver justice, a complaint was lodged with the Health Department at Bengaluru.  Meanwhile Health Minister Ramesh announced at Belagavi session a war against female foeticide. However, the government has not been able to totally erase the evil practice. Suvarana News has the proof of illegal foeticide and the ball is in the Health Department’s court to take action.
