Bengaluru-based Biocon chief Kiran Majumdar Shah figures in the 71 st place in Forbe's 100 most influential women ICICI Bank CEO and MD Chanda Kochhar also features in the list German Chancellor Angela Merkel continues to hold number one position

The US Forbes magazine has published its list of 100 most influential women in the world and five Indian women make it to the list. Bengaluru-based Biocon chief Kiran Majumdar Shah figures in the 71 place, reports Kannada Prabha.

The other Indian women are ICICI Bank CEO and MD Chanda Kochhar in 57 th place, Hindustan Times Editorial Director Shobhana Bharthiya at 92 nd place and actor Priyanka Chopra at the 97th place. German Chancellor Angela Merkel continues to remain on top for the seventh consecutive year.
