Sharath, a Kerala native and the son of an IT officer from Bengaluru, was kidnapped eight days ago and now his body has been found. However, with the arrest of a man named Vishal, the police have found crucial evidence in the murder.

The phone details have given way to suspicion that the accused is Vishal, the victim's sister's boyfriend. Sources also said that Sharath was in love with Vishal's sister. But there is no confirmation on this news yet.

It is said that Vishal used Sharath's sister to find out about the routine and the whereabouts of the victim before kidnapping him. Even after the kidnapping, he posed as a man with concern and collected all the information regarding the police complaint, whatever was happening at home and if they were ready to give the ransom of Rs 50 lakh as demanded.

But when Vishal came to know that the family has secretly filed a case with the police, he is said to have killed Sharath.

Earlier, Sharath had sent a WhatsApp video message to the family; he had said that he has been kidnapped by his father's rivals and were demanding Rs 50 lakh as ransom. "Please get the money demanded by these kidnappers as soon as possible, they are torturing me," said his message.

After killing Sharath, his body was initially thrown into Ramohalli Lake in Bengaluru. But later the body was taken out of the water and was buried at some place in the city.

When the police questioned Sharath's sister, she is said to have remained silent. The post-mortem is being held at the spot where his body was found.
