Sudeep through his sister had filed for a divorce in the family court two years ago. The couple was summoned to the court nine times following the application. But the couple had not attended even one hearing.
Recently, the couple was seen together during the audio launch of movie Jigarthana, first film under Kicchcha Sudeep's production company Kichcha Creations. Then Sudeep and Priya had also attended a programme at daughter Sanvi's school where she was awarded 'School Perfect' award. In fact, Sudeep had the honour of presenting the award to his daughter.
These developments had given way to speculations that the couple might unite. But there wads no clarification in this regard from the couple.
Even on the day, the couple applied for a divorce; the Sudeep had stated that media and people should respect their privacy and private decisions. Accordingly, the couple was never seen having a difference of opinion or an argument in public.
Now it looks like the decision of Sudeep and Priya to together have not made their daughter Sanvi happy, but even the fans have expressed happiness and have wished the couple well.
As Sudeep is abroad shooting, he has submitted his request to withdraw the divorce application through his lawyer.
