Blame Subramanian Swamy for Gauri Lankesh's 'free sex' comment

Synopsis

A group of people have left no stones unturned to malign the slain journalist, writer Gauri Lankesh after her death. Following the celebration of her death on Twitter, the groups started maligning Gauri by referring to her free sex comment But the one to use the term free sex first was Subramanian Swamy and Gauri only replied to his Tweet

A group of people have left no stones unturned to malign the slain journalist, writer Gauri Lankesh after her death. Following the celebration of her death on Twitter, the groups started malign Gauri by referring to her free sex comment. Without verifying or giving the context she was blamed by saying "She called our mother a sex slave". But here is the truth behind the comment.

It all started with Subramanian Swamy's Tweet on October 29 in 2015 who targeted activist Kavita Krishnan and had tweeted: These free sex Naxalites will defend passengers on flight wearing bikinis to rubbish 'middle class' values.

This was his answer to Kavita Krishnan's Tweet stating : Stop this kind of sexist idiocy. Length of our skirts none of your business. This was in reference to IndiGo which had made a sexist comment on women on the flight.

Do you see anything wrong or malicious in Kavita Krishna's tweet? But Subramanian Swamy, from the party which claims to be the protectors of culture, called Kavita a 'Free sex Naxalite.'

In reply to Swamy's sexist tweet a person named GM Das replied by saying: Ask your mother/daughter whether she  had "Free Sex'. This is when Kavita's mother gave a befitting reply:

This is where Gauri lankesh comes into picture when she wrote a Facebook post supporting Kavita Krishnan and appreciating her mother's courage for her reply.

Gauri Lankesh wrote:

But people including actor Paresh Rawal took no time and declared it as 'sex slave' and wrote Wah Wah! Read and Spread.

When read in the context, nowhere no one's mother is termed as a sex slave. Gauri too clearly stated the difference between sex out of free choice and free sex.

The people who found Gauri's writing malicious did not have anything to say about Subramanian Swamy's original Tweet on Free Sex.

How convenient? The person who caused malice to a woman is not at fault, but the one trying to explain things in the same language is bad!
