BJP's KG Bopaiah sworn in as the pro-tem Speaker is known to be sending the MLAs away for protesting inside the house. Thus Congress-JD(S) leaders have decided not to stage protest and shout slogans against the Pro-tem Speaker.
Anyways the hearing on the appointment of the Pro-tem Speaker will be held in the Supreme Court at 10.30 AM today.
The time for floor test is fixed at 4 PM today and before that all MLAs will be sworn in. Thus Congress and JD(S) leaders are making sure that none of their MLAs (Congress 78+ JD(S) 37) do not get thrown out of the House.
