Five things you must know about Bengaluru's yummy mummy vying for Mrs India 2017 title

Dr Deeprekha Rajpoot is a finalist from Bengaluru for the Mrs India 2017 title She is a doctor by profession who swears by fitness and clean eating She is 39 and has two kids aged 13 and 9 but that has not stopped her from dreaming big

This 39-year-old doctor and a mother of two from Bengaluru is vying for this year's Haut Monde Mrs India - 2017 title along with 30 other pretty mothers. Meet Dr Deeprekha Rajpoot (39), a gym-hitting fitness freak, who claims that life begins from where many called it quits.

Here is a quick five take on Dr Deeprekha who will represent Karnataka in the contest

1.Dr Deeprekha hails from Himachal Pradesh. She has been living in Bengaluru for the past seven years. 

2. It was her friend who insisted that she had the talent to compete at the contest. But Dr Deeprekha was reluctant. "I was least interested in applying as I had never walked the ramp. I was sure that I wouldn't even come this far," reports Bangalore Mirror quoting Dr Deeprekha.

3. She is a fitness freak and hit the gym regularly. Also, she watches what she eats. She has ditched sugar and junk from her plate and claims to be clean eating. This helped her in winning the gruelling selection process from hundreds of competitors.

4. Dr Deeprekha is confident and a go-getter. Her Facebook page says "I may not be the Best in the room, but can be toughest competitor... Yes, you can still dream because age is just a number."

5. She is now training to go to Vietnam for a 10-day grooming session by this month end. The final competition will be held in New Delhi.
