21-year-old Veena driving a two-wheeler also died in the same way near Devanahalli in Bengaluru Rural on October 10. She was trying to avoid the pothole when she lost balance and came under a lorry, which killed her on the spot.

The Karnataka government is facing the wrath of the people who have demanded immediate action to set the roads right in Bengaluru.

Earlier on October 3, a couple died while trying to avoid a pothole, while they were taking their granddaughter to the hospital at 3 am near Sirsi Circle.
