Do these uncanny resemblances between Sriramulu and Nijalingappa hint at a bigger role for the BJP strongman?

Sriramulu has an uncanny resemblance to the first Chief Minister of unified Karnataka S Nijalingappa

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reposed a lot of faith in B Sriramulu to pit him against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Badami. And like his competitor Sriramulu too is contesting from two constituencies - Badami in Bagalkot and Molakalmuru in Chitradurga. The fact that he was chosen to campaign against CM Siddaramaiah over BJP's chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa shows the party's trust in him.

Sriramulu is on a blitzkrieg campaigning across the state. He is visiting all the villages in both Badami and Chitradurga, spending a few minutes in each village and discussing the problems with the locals. He is being supported by scam tainted mining baron G Janardhana Reddy whom the party has distanced itself from.

Sriramulu has an uncanny resemblance to the first Chief Minister of unified Karnataka S Nijalingappa. Let us see their similarities:

1) Both were born in Bellary: S Nijalingappa was born in Haluwagalu, a village in Bellary district. Sriramulu too hails from Bellary

2) While campaigning for Congress S Nijalingappa had contested from Molakalmuru in Chitradurga and Badami in Bagalkot. Sriramulu is doing the same.

3) Both hail and are contesting from Hyderabad Karnataka region. Their strong connect with the Telugu-speaking region had brought Nijalingappa to prominence and could work well for Sriramulu.

Sriramulu has said that he absolutely sure of beating Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Badami. And with such resemblances to the first Chief Minister of unified Karnataka, could he also be a future CM candidate for BJP?
