Sandalwood actor Kavya Acharya who was allegedly seen in a sex CD with Dayananda seer of Maddevanapura mutt in Hunasemaranahalli has reportedly attempted to end her life.

According to Suvarna News, Kavya who was upset after the CD came out in public, went to her native near Shivamogga and tried to commit suicide. Sources told Suvarna News that she has been admitted to a private hospital.

The sleazy CD had allegedly shown actress Kavya with the seer. However, as the CD went viral, the actor had clarified that it was not her in the video and her name was unnecessarily being dragged into the matter. She had also stated that the video might have been morphed.

She had told Suvarna News that "I don't even know who Dayananda swami is."

In fact, reports claimed that Kavya was demanding money from the seer. He had promised her good amount of money and when he failed to do so, she had recorded their intimate moments and had also ensured that the video was released to the media to blackmail and malign the seer.

However, she had refuted these charges claiming she had nothing to do with the sex CD.

Now, as the report of her attempting suicide emerged, her brother Krishna Acharya told Suvarna News that Kavya will come clean in two days. "She is still recovering at the hospital. She will come out clean on this. I will not speak anything about it. She herself will clarify," Krishna told Suvarna News. 

It may be recalled here that following the mutt devotees' protest, Dayananda swami was shunted out of the mutt.
