Mysuru KR Constituency MLA MK Somashekhar created a WhatsApp group and included as many voters from the constituency as possible in the group. But to his horror, the MLA faced a backlash from the people.

The WhatsApp group was created by MLA Somashekhar's gunman Mahesh, said OneIndiaKannada. As soon as the group was created, people started lashing out at the leader stating, where was he for four-and-a-half-years after getting elected?

Some people asked him to set right problems in the ward including laying of concrete roads and more, before requesting votes. One man had even posted PM Narendra Modi's photo in the group. Soon, most of those who were added to the group started leaving it one by one.

It can be noted that, throughout, the MLA refrained from commenting or replying.
