A Congo national has been arrested by Sadduguntepalya police for attempting to sell his Indian girlfriend into flesh trade. Gelore Badibonga Magic (29) had come from Congo in 2010 to study BBM course at a prestigious college in Halasuru. He was staying at a hostel. He joined English classes where he met a girl from Andhra Pradesh. They fell in love. The girl is working in a private company. They decided to marry and started living together at Sadduguntepalya, reports Kannada Prabha.

Magic’s parents stopped sending him money and he was desperate for money. He then tried to force his girlfriend into flesh trade. When she refused, he assaulted her. The girl contacted an NGO and lodged a complaint against him. Based on the complaint police arrested him. They found out that his passport and Visa had expired in 2013 and he was staying illegally in the city.
