Blackout in Bengaluru: No power for 32 hours in various parts of the City

The Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company is upgrading power supply lines in a few parts of the city There will be no power from July 6 10 am to July 7, 7 pm Affected residents can lodge their complaint, if any, on 1912, Bescom's helpline

In a few hours, there will be major power disruption in a few parts of the city not for one or two hours but close to 32 hours at a stretch! Power will be disrupted from July 6, 10 am to July 7, 6 pm, according to the Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM). The electricity company is upgrading the power supply lines hence the power disruption for 32 hours!

According to Kannada Prabha, following are the areas which will suffer from power disruption:

1.Kuvempunagar, Lakshmipur, Singapur, Kalanagar, Abbigeri Industrial Area, Kanshiram Nagar and surrounding areas.

2. Shivanahalli, Srinidhi Layout, Bengaluru Water Board, Puttenahalli, Pavani, Heritage, CRPF, Ramagondanahalli, IVRI, Ananthapur, Kenchenahalli, Gattiganahalli, Harohalli, Suradenapura, Sadhanahalli, ISRO Layout, LBS Nagar, Yelahanka, AB Sector, Avalahalli, SN Halli, Rajanukunte, Honnenahalli, Nagenahalli, AV Pura, Marasandra, Silver Oak, Nelakunte, Kakolu, Byatha, Seeresandra, Mylappanahalli, Shanabhoganahalli, Kamakshipura, Hosannenahalli, Arakere, Bairapura, Dinnur Shirke Apartment, Yelahanka New Town Shirke Apartment, BMS hostel, Yelahanka New Town Nagarjuna Apartment, MIG Block, Yelahanka New Town 5th phase.

3. Santhosh Nagar, Ravindranagar, Garrison, Shettihalli, SM Road, Kalahasti Road, Officers' Model Colony, Gaati Road, Jemini Road, Peenya 1st stage, Ravi Kirloskar Hospital Road, BFW, Tata Tea, ITC, IR Road and surrounding areas.

Residents of these areas can lodge compliant, if any, to Bescom on 1912 or send messages to 58888.
