BJP national president Amit Shah is leaving no stone unturned to get 20,000 BJP workers, including State leaders, to start campaigning as 'Vistaraks' for 15 days starting from July 1. The campaign has been taken up as part of a Party strengthening exercise commemorating Pandit Deendayal's Centenary.

Speaking after inaugurating the 'Vistarak Abhiyan' at BJP office at Malleswaram, BJP State president BS Yeddyurappa predicted that the booth level 'Vistark Abhiyan' of 15 days would definitely strengthen the party and not have any doubts about it.

He instructed each member to visit a minimum of 25 houses and distribute handbills. Each worker is also expected to call 50 numbers and get them to join the party. A daily work report should be prepared and submitted to Amit Shah, Kannada Prabha reports BSY as stating.

In the Lok Sabha elections of 2014, the BJP had made the best use of new technology to win. It is the same strategy that the State BJP will use in the upcoming Karnataka state legislative assembly elections. 5000 Whatsapp groups are expected to be created, and be active, in all 224 constituencies.

Yeddyurappa also insisted that the members should propagate the failures of Siddaramaiah's government.

"Anna Bhagya is a Central Government project. The Centre purchases rice at Rs 32 per kg and sells it for Rs 3 per kg. Wheat is purchased at Rs 22 per kg and sold for Rs 2. But the State government is not disclosing such information. BJP workers should inform the public about such details," he said, reports Kannada Prabha.
