Bengaluru rape: House owner, neighbour arrested over rape on 4-year-old child

In a shocking incident, which will put all Bengalureans to shame, a man has allegedly raped a four-year-old girl, who bled to death as the doctors refused to treat the baby.

Mother of the victim had left her four-year-old daughter with Chandana and had left for work. Victim's mother knew Chanadana well. But she is said to have invited Mallikarjun to her house who first touched the child inappropriately and then sexually assaulted it.

The police have arrested Mallikarjun as well as Chandana in this regard, and both have been remanded to judicial custody.

Sources said that the neighbour, who is also the owner of the house, entered the house at Vajarahalli in Balaji Layout where a four-year-old girl was playing. Her mother had gone to work, leaving the child at home. The man allegedly raped the kid.

Mother was shocked to see her baby lying in the pool of blood and rushed to the Rajiv Gandhi Health Institute in Jayanagar. But despite seeing the baby bleeding, the doctors refused to admit her in the hospital.

Later, the baby was admitted to the St John's Hospital.

Reports said that the girl was raped on August 17 and has breathed her last in the hospital today (August 26) morning, as she failed to respond to the treatment. It is said that the girl would have been saved if she was given timely treatment.

A case in this regard has been filed at Talaghattapura Police Station.
