Ram Madir construction to start in Ayodhya in 2018

Synopsis

The 12th Hindu Dharma Samsad was inaugurated amidst pomp and gaiety on Nov 24. Over 2000 Sadhus and Sanths participated on the first day of the 3-day Samsad. Ram Mandir construction at Ayodhya was the major issue of debate. A resolution was taken that the construction should start by 2018 end.

As expected Ram Mandir construction at Ayodhya was the major issue of debate. A resolution was taken that the construction should start by 2018 end, reported Kannada Prabha.

Earlier to that Vishva Hindu Praishad international executive president Praveen Togadia stated that Ram Mandir must be built in Ayodhya and the country must be made a Ram Rajya and to accomplish this the sadhus assembled should give a clear guidance to formulate an action plan.

Rashtriya Svayam Sevaka Sangha coordinator Mohan Bhagwat declared that undoubtedly the Ram Mandir construction will commence as soon as possible. Udupi Pejawara Swami wished that the foundation for Ram Mandir should be laid in 2018 October and construction should be completed by 2019.

A prolonged discussion session was held in this regard.  Majority of Sadhus who participated in the debate urged that the construction should not be delayed. The favourable atmosphere in Uttara Pradesh and Centre should be best made use of.  All most all leaders felt the time was appropriate for the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.  In support of this Pejawara Swami said the construction should start by next October.  Later, it was decided, taking into consideration the Supreme Court verdict, avoiding all probable hurdles, it can start by 2018.

Mohan Bhagwat in his key note address said Ram Mandir will be built on the same foundation at the same spot using the same bricks. He felt ‘victory is very close’ and gave a call not only with high spirits but also with care the construction work must be taken up.
