Apollo Hospital: HD Kumaraswamy in ventilator after a successful surgery

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and JD(S) State President HD Kumaraswamy underwent a successful surgery at Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru on September 23.

Kumaraswamy has been asked to be on a ventilator until late evening on September 23. After the discharge, he will have to take two weeks rest.

Earlier, he was admitted to a hospital in Singapore for the same problem (a cough and infection).

Dr Manjunath from Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru said that Kumaraswamy needs rest. He will be discharged after a week. He will be observed for seven days and then will be discharged from the hospital.

He had an infection, and now Aortic Valve has been fitted instead of Tissue Valve. Dr Sathyaki Nambalage conducted a successful surgery.

He will be on a strict diet.
