Synopsis

Union Minister Ananthakumar and BJP leader Prahlad Joshi. Both had to abandon their cars and take the Metro. Ananthakumar got down at Lal Bagh and walked home which is nearby.

The heavy downpour and traffic jam had its effect on Union Minister Ananthakumar and BJP leader Prahlad Joshi. Both had to abandon their cars at BJP head office and take the Metro from Sheshadripura, reports Kannada Prabha.

Ananthakumar got down at Lal Bagh and walked home which is nearby. Joshi got down at Banashankari and walked home said sources.

On hearing the news of two dead and three washed away in Rajakaluve, Bengaluru Urban Development Minister K J George and Mayor Sampath  Raj rushed to the spot. The Mayor paid his condolences to the family of the dead. The fire brigade arrived late at night at the Kurburahalli Raja Kaluve and searched for the bodies. 

Both Minister and Mayor informed the Chief Minister about the mishap and Siddaramaiah immediately announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for each family who lost a kin.
