The Channarayapatna police have seized at least 2 kg of gold and a huge collection of sarees being transported in a car near Devanahalli.

The incident occurred near Daba Gate at Devanahalli in Bengaluru. The man travelling in the car had hidden the gold inside his shirt.

The raid was conducted under the leadership of SI Sundar . The accused is a man based out of Bengaluru.

Initially, when searching, the police found a box of 500 grams of gold materials. When they intensified the search, the police found rest of the gold hidden inside the shirt of the traveller.
