The HAL police have arrested two labourers for allegedly trying to molest an eight-year-old girl who happens to be the daughter of their friend. The accused allegedly lured her with a promise of buying her chocolate and took her to a park. However, the girl was saved by the timely phone call made by some public to the police control room, reports Kannada Prabha. Jesudas and Naresh of Vijinapura are the arrested.
The public noticed that they were misbehaving with the girl and immediately alerted the police. Hoysala police rushed to the spot and took them to the station. On investigation, the culprits said they had brought the girl to the park to play as it was a holiday. When the girl was questioned, she said that they brought her to the park promising to buy her chocolate.
