ATK Mohun Bagan is currently placed on second in the 2020-21 Indian Super League table. ATK was the defending champion, having won the title last season, before merging with MB this season. It plays bottom-placed Odisha FC, as the latter is showing signs of recovery.

Indian Super League giant, ATK Mohun Bagan is having a great time this season, as it is placed on the second place in the table. In a bid to edge closer to the playoffs berth, it faces bottom-placed Odisha FC at the GMC Stadium in Goa, on Saturday.

While it looks like an easy task, the bottom-placed teams are famous for springing back surprises and becoming giant-killers at no time. Similarly, ATKMB boss, Antonio Lopez Habas has warned his boys to be wary of Odisha's threat, while the latter's late surge in form could prove to be lethal.

"We have to play in the same way against Odisha as we played against Mumbai City. The competition in ISL is very high and there are no small teams. They have a special situation with the coach out now. But, whenever there is a change in team or coach, the motivation increases by 20 per cent," he said during the pre-match press conference.

"We can talk about this (conceding goals) when we have a complete squad. Throughout the season, we have had problems with injuries above to foreign players. It is very difficult to stick to a fixed line-up in two consecutive matches," he added.

ATKMB has also welcomed Lenny Rodrigues as its new recruit, while Habas reckons that the Spaniard is in a great shape and would feature for the side soon. "He is a good professional player. I had him in Pune City (2016), so when we got the opportunity to sign him, we signed him immediately. For me, he is in good condition and he is improving," he concluded.
