  • RCB lost their 10th game of the IPL 2017 on Sunday against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
  • This has been a season to forget for Virat Kohli and his side.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) would want to get this season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017out of their as soon as possible. RCB have never won the title and last year they came agonisingly close to winning the IPL but Sunrisers Hyderabad trumped them in the final. But this year, unfortunately, they will finish at the bottom of the IPL points table.

This has never happened before, not even in the history of the IPL. Yes, this season has been that woeful for Virat Kohli and co. Kohli himself has been out of form and that affected their team's performance as well.

None of the big guns like Chris Gayle, Shane Watson and AB de Villiers fired as well. Their big-money bowler Tymal Mills was absolutely poor. The middle-order could not be even found during the course of the IPL.

Therefore, Virat Kohli issued an apology on Twitter after they lost their 10th game of the IPL 2017 on Sunday against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Here's what captain Kohli had to say

Thanks to the @RCBTweets fans for all the unconditional love and support this season as well. Sorry we couldn't play up to our standards.
