Kannada University Hampi has digitised 12 volumes on the life and works of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu. 

Bengaluru: There is great news for Kannadigas this Rajyotsava as people will now get to read the works and personal writings of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu all digitally.

Kannada University Hampi has digitised 12 volumes on the life and works of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu.

The 12 volumes on the life and works of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu include his letters to friends and family.

The digitalization of Kuvempu’s works have been done by Dr KC Shivareddy, Professor at Kannada University Hampi.

Reportedly, Shivareddy began collecting the works, letters, interviews, and anecdotes on the life of Kuppali Venkatappa Puttappa, popularly known as Kuvempu since the year 1999. 

Individual volumes were out over the year, and the compilation of all 12 volumes was out on Monday. It is reported that this compilation was put in digitised form, on the insistence of Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan.

All the volumes are available online and free pages from each volume are available. However, those who want to read the entire volume, or all 12 volumes will have to purchase it online.
