In a tweet, Prashant Kishor said, "For all the hype AMPLIFIED by a section of supportive media, in reality BJP will struggle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in #WestBengal. PS: Please save this tweet and if BJP does any better I must quit this space!"
Prashant Kishor's remarks came two days after Union home minister Amit Shah said that the BJP has set to win 200 out of 294 seats in the 2021 Bengal polls.
Senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya retorted: "With the ongoing BJP tsunami in Bengal, after forming the government we will see the country lose a poll strategist."

Earlier, BJP national vice-president Mukul Roy claimed TMC will not get even 100 seats out of the total 294 in the West Bengal assembly polls in 2021.
Prashant Kishor, whose past credits include the BJP's 2014 campaign and Nitish Kumar's 2015 win in Bihar, is seen to face his toughest challenge in West Bengal in the upcoming polls.
