Wife of minister Gen VK Singh alleges blackmail, files a complaint

An acquaintance of Union minister Gen VK Singh is reported to be blackmailing his wife with recorded conversation, according to an NDTV report.
Wife of minister of State of External Affairs Gen Singh has lodged a police complaint stating that Pradeep Chauhan had secretly recorded her conversation with him on August 6 and then threatened that the conversation would be made public if not paid ₹ 2 crore.
According to Bharti Singh, Chauhan possesses a revolver and has also threatened to harm other family members.
Bharti Singh in her complaint said that the conversation has been doctored and the man also possesses fake video recordings of her.
The Delhi police is investigating the matter.
