Synopsis

A video of a man about leaving Noida after 14 years has connected with corporate workers. He reflected on his journey from struggling job seeker to Creative Head but admitted city life left him emotionally disconnected. The clip sparked discussion about corporate pressure, loneliness, family bonds and the emotional cost of urban success.

A heartfelt video shared by a man leaving Noida after spending 14 years there has touched thousands of people online, especially corporate workers living away from home. The video was posted on Instagram by Vibhu Trivedi, who described his decision to leave the city 'forever' as both emotional and difficult. His honest reflections about career success, loneliness and the desire to return home quickly connected with viewers across social media.

Many people said the video perfectly captured the hidden emotional side of city life and the pressure of constantly chasing success.

From uncertainty to professional success

In the video, Trivedi recalled arriving in Noida in 2012 with fear and uncertainty about his future. At the time, he did not even know whether he would find a job.

Over the years, however, his career grew steadily. According to Trivedi, he started as a Junior Graphic Designer and later became a Creative Head.

He also spoke about how much his lifestyle changed during those years. From walking everywhere on foot, he eventually reached a stage where he owned an SUV. He said he moved from designing advertising hoardings to even appearing on them.

For many viewers, his story reflected the dreams and ambitions of thousands of young professionals who move to big cities hoping to build successful careers.

Success brought emotional distance

Despite his professional achievements, Trivedi admitted that city life slowly made him feel emotionally disconnected.

Speaking about urban lifestyles, he said many people become trapped in routines filled with work pressure, EMIs and endless responsibilities while hoping for a better future someday.

He also said relationships in large cities often become based more on convenience than emotional closeness.

One moment in particular deeply affected him. Trivedi recalled speaking to a falooda seller and asking what he would do first if he suddenly became rich.

The vendor replied, “I’ll return to my village.”

According to Trivedi, that answer changed his thinking completely. He realised that beyond money and success, many people simply want peace, family and familiar surroundings.

'My biggest flex is returning home'

Trivedi shared the video with the caption, “My biggest flex is returning home after 14 years, new location Kanpur.”

The line itself became widely discussed online, with many users saying they also dream of one day returning to their hometowns after years of living in busy cities.

Some users praised his decision and wished him luck for the future.

One person wrote, “Good decision bro.”

Another commented, “Be with your parents, everything is secondary.”

Several users said they had either already returned home after years in cities or planned to do the same in future.

One user wrote, “I will also take this same decision bro.”

Another said, “I also came back to my hometown after 11 years. There is so much peace.”

Mixed reactions online

While many supported Trivedi’s emotional message, some people had different views. A few users argued that financial stability is still the biggest reality of life and not everyone can simply leave city jobs behind.

One user commented that such thoughts usually come only after achieving financial comfort and stability.

Others pointed out that not everyone has the option to return home because work opportunities are often limited in smaller towns and villages.

Still, the video started a larger discussion about modern corporate life, emotional burnout, loneliness and the value of family support.
