Varanasi development works reviewed based on CM Dashboard ranking

In Varanasi, UP Planning Secretary Rajshekhar chaired a meeting to review development works based on the CM Dashboard. He directed officials to improve grading and ranking by ensuring timely completion of projects like Jal Jeevan Mission and road repairs.

A review meeting of development works based on the Chief Minister Dashboard was held in the Circuit House auditorium on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Rajshekhar, Secretary, Planning and Director General, Economics and Statistics, Uttar Pradesh/District Nodal Officer.

Scheme Performance and Categorisation

A detailed review was conducted based on the effective implementation of public welfare schemes, timely target achievement, and the grading and ranking of physical progress of development projects. Evaluating the performance of various departments, he clearly stated that all officers should take personal interest in achieving the desired grading and ranking. Rajshekhar sought information from the concerned officials regarding B, C, and D category projects/programs.

Key Directives for Officials

He discussed schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission (Rural) in category B, Family ID, the Fifth State Finance Commission (Gram Panchayat), Project Alankar, construction of new roads, the CM Mass Marriage Scheme, the Janani Suraksha Yojana (C) in category C, the ICDS Nutrition Campaign, and the CMIS construction work in category D. He directed that all projects under the Har Ghar Nal Jal Yojana be completed within the stipulated timeframe, achieving the expected progress through microplans. He directed that monthly data on functional household tap connections under the Jal Jeevan Mission be updated on the portal. The Family ID progress was 88%, and he directed that 100% progress be achieved.

He directed that all preparations for the CM Mass Marriage Scheme be completed and the target be met within the stipulated timeframe. He directed that 100% payments be made under the Janani Suraksha Yojana and that the work of removing potholes on roads damaged by the rain be expedited.

He directed that the construction/widening and strengthening works of new roads under construction under the Public Works Department (Construction and Provincial Division) be completed on priority basis. He said that the Public Works Department should mark the roads and launch a campaign from October 1 to complete the patchwork or special repair works.

He also directed the Municipal Corporation officials to complete the patchwork/special repair works of the identified roads expeditiously.

He said that the physical and financial progress of the projects under construction should be updated on the CMIS portal in a timely manner, so that the updated data is reflected on the portal. He directed that the construction works of the projects of various departments be completed by December.

District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar, Chief Development Officer Prakhar Kumar Singh, and officials of all departments were present in the meeting.
