
Dehradun: Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) declared the results of Class 10 and 12 on Wednesday (July 29).
In Class 12, 80.26% of the students have passed this year in which 76.88% are boys and 83.63% are girls. Students can check the result on ubse.uk.gov.in.
At the first place in the Class 12 exam is Uddham Singh Nagar’s Beauty Vatsal with 96.60%. At second place is Nanital’s Yugal Joshi with 95.40%. At third place with 95% are Rahul Yadav (Deharadun), Sarthak Maithani (Gadhwal), Vaibhav Thapliya (Chamoli), Deepak Sati (Almoda) and Mukesh Upadhya from Nanital.
In Class 10, 71.39% boys and 82.65% girls have passed the exam. Gaurav Sakalani of Tehri Garhwala topped with 98.20%. At the second spot with 97.80% was Udham Singh Nagar's Kumari Jigyasa.
In the third place, with 97.60%, are Shivani Rawat, Tanuj Jagwanan, and Lakshit Singh Visht. Last year, 76.43% of students passed the Class 10 exam.
This year around 1.5 lakh students appeared for the UBSE 10th standard exam while 1.25 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exam.
