Sania and Rohan battle it out with Paes on Twitter

Sania Mirza and Rohan Boppana took their fight with Leander Paes to Twitter Sania without naming anyone said "the ONLY way to win with a toxic person, is not to play"

Sania Mirza and Rohan Boppana took Leander Paes’s scathing remarks to heart and took the fight to Twitter to give Paes a bitter response after he said that India failed to send their best teams forward for the past two Olympics.

Sania and Rohan were sent to represent India at the Rio Olympics this year in mixed doubles. The duo, however, failed to win a medal this year prompting Paes to question the selection process after India lost 5-0 to Spain in the Davis Cup World Group play-off in New Delhi.

He said, “I can very, very clearly say that the past two Olympics, we didn’t put the best teams forward. This Olympics — the mixed doubles — was a huge opportunity.”To which Sania Mirza gave a smashing reply on Twitter without naming anyone.

Sania’s tweet was retweeted by Rohan Boppana who later tweeted saying

According to reports, Sania Mirza was not happy when she was paired with Paes at the 2012 London Olympics. AITA apparently had a tough time selecting the team after Sania told them that she wanted to partner with Mahesh Bhupati. However, AITA paired her with leander which didn’t go too well with her.
