Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday began his address at the BJP rally at Ramlila Maidan with the slogan 'Unity in diversity is India's speciality'.

Modi while rubbishing all rumours about the Citizenship Amendment Act stated that the Act is for those Indians who are tortured in Pakistan and are forcibly converted there. He added that  the police is there to always help the people and attacking them is not justified.

Regarding the violent protests over the CAA, PM Modi during his speech at Ramlila Maidan said, "hate me but don't hate India. Burn my effigies but don't burn a poor man's auto-rickshaw".
