Nice attack: Sikh photoshopped as terrorist, for the second time!

A young Sikh freelance writer from Canada, whose photoshopped images were shared on Twitter following the Paris attacks, found himself once again in the centre of the storm after trolls once again shared his picture identifying him as the perpetrator who ploughed through a crowd of revellers in Nice, killing more than 80 people.

Veerender Jubbal, a Canadian national, was portrayed as the terrorist behind the Nice attacks, despite never have travelled to the country ever.

Hours after the Paris attacks in which the terrorists killed 130 people, pranksters released a photoshopped image of Jubbal wearing a suicide vest and holding up a Quran. The image went viral on social media, however, it was found that the real image had him posing with a tablet.

Besides being trolled, he also had received death threats.

At least 84 people, including children, were killed after a lorry slammed through a crowd of revellers celebrating Bastille Day in the southern French city of Nice on Thursday night.

According to BBC, the driver ploughed on for 2 km on the Promenade des Anglais before he was killed by the police.
