All India BJP president Mukul Roy has undergone a gallbladder operation on Thursday (November 19). According to hospital sources, the heath condition of the BJP president is stable. BJP state president Dilip Ghosh will visit him on Friday (November 20) morning.

On Wednesday (November 18), Mukul Roy’s health condition deteriorated. He suddenly had acute pain in his stomach. He was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata. The doctors operated on Mukul Roy on Thursday (November 19). According to hospital sources, the surgery was successful.

However, nobody was informed about Mukul Roy’s illness. The All India BJP president did not want his followers to get panic at the news of his illness. Moreover, he wanted to avoid a crowd in the hospital due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the news was kept hidden.

Assembly polls are approaching in West Bengal. The preparations of the BJP are in full swing. BJP leaders from Delhi are continuously calling to get an update on Mukul Roy’s health. Central leaders have taken notice of his physical condition. BJP state president Dilip Ghosh will visit him on Friday (November 20) morning.
